Free comic book day

May the 4th be with you! Spent the day at Comics Conspiracy talking about The Space Odditorium and drawing free super hero pics for people. I love the challenge opening the flood gates like this gives. Drawing all these characters I’d never considered, really helps me break out of my comfort zone. And all the smiling faces are super motivating. Some of my favorite requests were Sinestro, Ms Marvel (not Captain), and Belle (Aka Beauty). If you’re a comic creator I highly recommend doing this. It’s fantastic art chops training and a great way to give back to those amazing shops that support your work. This kid filled me in on everything he knew about Sinestro while I worked.
